Sanatur Vitamin K2 Plus combines K2VITAL® brand vitamin K2 in the form of biologically active MK-7 with lichen as a source of plant-based vitamin D3.
Vitamins K2 and D3 work well together to maintain normal bones. They form the framework of our body, and although they appear strong and hard, they undergo lifelong processes of formation and resorption. K2Vital® guarantees vitamin K2 as high-purity all-trans menaquinone 7 (MK-7). Lichens serve as a source of purely plant-based vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol).
The Caladonia lichen species can produce increased amounts of vitamin D3 in very sunny locations. For Sanatur, the lichen is cultivated in select, sun-drenched areas. After harvesting, the lichens are washed, dried, and finely ground. To protect against oxidation, a small amount of vitamin E is added to the fine powder. The fine powder provides the highly sought-after vitamin D3.
Vitamin K2 and vitamin D3 contribute to maintenance of normal bones.

Recommended intake: 1 capsule daily with plenty of liquid.
NOTE: Persons taking anticoagulant medications (coumarin type) should consult their physician before consuming vitamin K-containing food supplements.
