Hyaluron or hyaluronic acid is a gel-like, transparent liquid that is produced by our body itself. It is an important component of our connective tissue, cartilage and joint fluid. It is particularly interesting in cosmetics because it can bind up to six litres of water per gram of its own weight.

• High-molecular hyaluronic acid is able to bond with the keratin molecules of the horny layer via hydrogen bonds. When it evaporates, it has a tightening effect and small wrinkles appear softened and visually plumped up. At the same time, it forms an invisible protective film on the surface of the skin and thus reduces moisture loss.

• Low-molecular hyaluronic acid can penetrate into the deep epidermal layers of the skin and act where deeper wrinkles occur. It delivers and binds moisture, providing an additional "plumping" effect from within.

• Hexapeptide-8 Argireline® - 6-chain amino acids with proven efficacy. Argireline® is said to be able to reduce fine lines and wrinkles. It is also called needle-free Botox.
