Spirulina mikro-algae

The power microalgae spirulina is one of the first living creatures on our planet and was already known to early advanced civilisations as an important food. Its name is derived from its energetically highly interesting spiral shape. It belongs to the large family of cyanobacteria (procayotes) and has inhabited our planet for over 3.5 billion years. It possesses properties that only bacteria have, as well as properties that are only attributed to plants. This is what makes it so special and unique. Spirulina has no hard cell walls like plants, but is only coated with a very thin layer of multiple sugars. This easily digestible structure allows the nutrients to be almost completely absorbed. This makes it suitable for every group of people from young to old.

It gets its typical deep dark green from the interplay of the strong green of chlorophyll and the blue of the rare plant pigment phycocyanin. Among biophoton researchers, spirulina is classified as a food with very high light energy.
