Sanatur DHA Plus uses the microalgae Schizochytrium as a high-dose source of the omega-3 fatty acids DHA (docosahexaenoic acid) and EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid).
DHA and EPA contribute to the normal functioning of the heart, vision, and the brain, which is important for cognitive functions such as perception, learning, memory, and thinking. Omega-3 fatty acids should be a daily part of your diet. For those who prefer plant-based sources, the microalgae is grown under controlled conditions on farms.
Santur DHA Plus is made from the marine microalgae Schizochytrium sp. Its natural habitat is mangrove forests in tropical countries. For human consumption, however, the algae are cultivated in algae farms specifically designed for this purpose. This method of cultivation allows the algae to be grown under completely controlled conditions, ensuring that the marine ecosystem remains unaffected.
